CW Series Overview

The CW 26 400 is a new model in the UD heavy duty fleet. It is perfect for the applciations like rigid construction transport, tilt trays, combination freight distribution and rigid metro delivery.

CW 26 400 easily meets Euro 5 emission standards. The state of the art SCR technology not only reduces greenhosue gases, but also provides fuel savings over similarly configured trucks that rely on DFP filters and EGR.

CW 26 400 uses UD's trusted 13 litre engine producing 287 kW and 1716 Nm of torque at 1100 rpm. With a standard 13 speed Eaton transmission, and a 6,500kg front axle capacity, the CW will work hard all day improving efficiency and productivity for businesses.

FUPS

UD's heavy duty trucks offer Front Under-Run Protection System (FUPS) and a 6.5t front axle capacity as standard.

Performance

The UD GE13, 13 litre, 6 cylinder  turbo* diesel in CW 260 400  will improve fuel economy by approximately 10% over an equivalent EGR engine.  It offers 287kW with 1716 Nm at 1100rpm, combined with proven  SCR technology and 25,000 km service intervals.  UD's heavy duty trucks makes sound business sense.

Mass ratings & Suspension

CW 26 400 provides GVM of 26,000kg and GCM up to 50,000kg. CW comes standard with a 6,500kg front axle capacity and UD's reliable airbag rear suspension.

Features

CW 26 400's new  cabin blends contemporary design with functionality with improved driver safety and comfort. Excellent storage, carpet, headroom and legroom create a cabin that is roomy, comfortable and designed for the operator. With a driver's SRS airbag, climate control air-conditioning and a new SAT/NAV Audio, Navigation & Entertainment System the operator has fingertip control of key communicatiosn functions. Add other features like 24v power supply, large  centre console, triple arm 2 speed wipers, heated and electronically operated mirrors, ADR42/04 compliant sleeper bunk, heated and cooled storage box, cruise control and power windows to complete the picture.

13 Speed Eaton Transmission

CW 26 400 comes with the trusted Eaton 13 speed manual transmission , calibrated by UD's Australian engineers and recognised by the industry as a reliable, trouble free gearbox.

Emissions

SCR technology eliminates 95% of Nitrous Oxides (NOx) and most of the greenhouse gases.  All of  UD's SCR equipped heavy duty trucks are some of the cleanest available in the Australian market. Importantly, UD's technology will remain fundamentally the same through the Euro 6 update.
